"Copenhagen Classic" City Tour

"Copenhagen Classic" is perfect if it’s your first time here and you want to see it all. You’ll get to know the city’s history, visit its most beautiful spots, and discover the philosophy of hygge. We’ll stop by a local bakery to try Danish pastries, explore hidden courtyards, and take in the city from above. The exact route is always adapted to you.

Highlights may include:

City Hall Square, the Church of Our Lady, the University, the Round Tower, Christiansborg Palace, the iconic colorful houses of Nyhavn, the royal residence Amalienborg, the Royal Library Garden, and more.
The Little Mermaid statue is included on tours of 3 hours or longer. You’ll learn about Denmark’s royal past and get a sense of how the city lives today. Why are Danes considered among the happiest people in the world? You’ll find out along with tips on where to try the best smørrebrød and what to bring home from Denmark.

We can also pause for coffee and a pastry or even enjoy a taste of Danish cuisine together along the way.

Meeting point: City Hall Square or your hotel. The itinerary and duration are fully flexible, this walk is designed exactly the way you want it.

Format: 2 to 6 hours, with an optional break for lunch or a snack. The tour can also be split over two days.

When the tour of the courtyards smoothly turned into a gastronomic journey… Thanks to the food-focused tour, we discovered that in Copenhagen: ‘Danish' pastries are actually Vienna buns, there’s a herring buffet with 10 varieties and unlimited refills, organic street food is everywhere, bread has been baked since 1652 at Sankt Peders Bageri, and cheesecakes and éclairs perfectly fit into a royal guard-themed route accompanied by an orchestra.
