5 Awesome Playgrounds in Copenhagen

Copenhagen is packed with playgrounds! In the city center, they’re cozy and compact, but just outside the center, you’ll find bigger, more adventurous spots. Here are five favorites.

Sankt Annæ Plads (City Center)

Right by Nyhavn. Swings, hammocks, climbing frames, and small bouldering areas. Perfect for a quick stop.

Konditaget Lüders (Nordhavn)

A rooftop playground with a sporty twist! Trampolines, swings, climbing structures and amazing views of the canal and modern architecture.

Nørrebroparken (Nørrebro)

Super atmospheric playground with slides and climbing structures shaped like abandoned planes and ships. Kids' imagination will run wild!

Skydebanehaven (Vesterbro)

A big, fun playground with a sandbox, climbing frames, and a bright parrot-shaped slide. Plenty of room to run around.

Kongens Have (City Center)

Cozy playground with a wooden dragon, sandbox, and obstacle course. Ideal for little ones up to 7 years old.

Other Spots:

Ørstedsparken, Østre Anlæg, Fælledparken (Østerbro), and near churches like Sankt Nikolaj Kirke and Helligåndskirken.
Pro tip: Search "legepladsen" on maps to find even more playgrounds!
